Gavin3171: i dont know about guppies, but platys vary in how big they get - mine is always quite small but ive seen pics of ones who are huge!!!

My guppie was 3-4x the size of that. She had about 50 babies but luckily ate three quarters of them.

So this morning I found her belly to be smaller than before. I was worried that she had terminated her pregnancy but to my surprise I saw little baby guppies swimming around. She gave birth to 11-12. Not a lot but this is my first time so I'm thrilled.
