10 gallons are not reccommended for breeding kribs. 20 gallons at a minimum is reccommended for kribs.
the female will start. she will pair up with the alpha male. you will notice her dancing and shimmying. she will also lower her fins to make her belly appear fatter. this is to attract the male into mating with her. dither or target fish are suggested for breeding kribs. rosy barbs seem to be the most favorable. they will require a cave type structure to lay the eggs. a flowerpot turned on it's side is good. when the female is ready to lay the eggs she will swim upside down in the cave deposting her eggs on the roof of the cave.
