when will my balloon molly give birth?!

Just wondering if there were signs that she's ready or getting ready to give birth...she's really big and her tummy towards her tail is getting quite dark.
Anyway i couldn't get a closer pic.
I posted a pic of her before but i'm perplexed why she's holding on to them so long.

There is not really a precise time or way to determine exactly when, of course. However, I would say she is close.

How long has she been pregnant, and what size tank is she in?

I also would say she is pretty close, but gestation period can depend on a number of different things...age of female, size of female, number of fry...etc. Also, it's so hard to tell with Balloon Mollies! They always look close to giving birth, to me.

I wouls say thats a 5g or a 1g tank that she;s in.... I know b/c I have one just like it (5g)!

it's a five, it has the hexagon shape.

nope it's a 1G. She's normally in my 96G tank but the other babies from the others got eaten, i want to give these one's a chance.
If she has lots of babies i'm sure i can't keep them all so whoever wants a couple - come and get em!
I hope it's soon though, i'm very impatient!

a really cool tip on mollies when they are pregnant! i notice that some get almost a square like belly and when is almost looks like the have eatin a deformed cube they are gonna BLOW!

Just wanted to give a bit of an update.
No babies yet but i have moved her back to the big tank but have her in a double breeding box along with another very preggers molly.... i hope the quick move and the smaller quarters aren't gonna stress her out too much. I'm doing the best i can for her.
