when will I know my ICH is gone?

how long of a clear streak (no signs of ICH) will I need before I can introduce more fish into my tank community? Also, I've heard that ick can leave lasting scars on fish. is this true, and how can I tell if a spot on my mollies is a scar or a parasite?

my black molly's gills don't seem to be improving, despite three treatments.

With most ich medications it will say the minimum time to treat your tank to clear out the parasite. It can be 2 weeks, sometimes its 4 weeks. Turning up your temp(80-83F) will help speed up the parasite life process, then it will die quicker if there's no host for it to attach to.

It took me about 2 weeks for it to be completely gone.
