do you move all the rocks and ornaments or woteva u have around? to get to all the substrate. because i do this and it really annoys me when i cant get the rocks back into a place where i like them?

i was just wondering if ppl just cleaned the areas that they could get to or did EVERYTHING ? thanks

Heck no I don't move the rocks around, I have 130lbs in my tank, that would take all day. I have sand so I just syphon up the poo on the surface, then move the sand around (usually to cover all the holes they've dug). When adding the water back in I spray the cracks and crevices in the rocks to get out anything lodged between them.

I sink the python tube to the bottom of the substrate and pull up and I do this all over the tank an inch apart from the last one. to release any built up gasses. (where ever you see bubbles rise is a gas pocket, no matter how small) but as for rocks being moved...nope.

yeah it is a pain moving all the rock but i jst think of all the skank that builds up around rocks n u cant get to it properly without moving em really, and i also think its a change for them
