When To Release?

I have been conditining the pair for the last week. The female has been in with him but sectioned off so he cant get at her for 2 days now. She looks eggy and he has made a big bubble nest. He is just sitting under it all the time and sometimes wonders over to her and swims back again.
when shall i put them together and what is the best way of doing this?

Release when the male has a nest built and they're both showing signs that they are ready to breed (stripes, flaring, swimming with head down, etc)

put in plenty of places for her to hide, clear the bottom of everything and i mean everything, and if both show the signs ricko mentioned, then release them. keep a close eye though. fin nipping is normal, bodily damage is bad
