As some of u may know, I have a heavily pregnant guppy and she just became squared around 5:00 p.m. mountain time and im not sure when to put her in the breeding trap. Should I put her in tonight or tomorrow morning      ?

She's been acting differently too, she's been aggressive when feeding, and she has been pooing in little tiny drops at a time  . What throws me off is that her gravid spot is a dark brown not balck. :S :/

HELP!!! I’m a first time breeder and don’t know what to predict. If u have to see a pic 1000% ask. But chances r really low. Please I need coments tonight!!!

Well if you have a pic that would be nice! But i think you should put her in the trap tonight just to be sure! Becuase i did the same thinf i waited till the morning and over night she gavebirth and the other fish ate her babbys. So put her in the breeding net! :good:

Just a word of warning. When I put 2 heavily pregnant females (1x guppy, 1x endler) in a floating breeding trap, they both got so stressed out that they aborted about 15 fry, which died within minutes......

Personally speaking, I prefer to have a planted tank that allows the fry plenty of hiding places. If necessary you can always fish out the fry and put them in a breeding trap afterwards.....

If that happened, you put them in the trap to early.
