hi all
i was woundering if any of you betta people could tell me when i move betta fry to a grow out tank?
mine are 4 weeks old and looking great some are abit biggar than others but just a little bit lol, they should be all double tails or some atleast.
anyways any help would be great
thanks all.

I put mine in growout at 4-5 weeks old. The longer you wait, the less stress on the fry, but the sooner you do it, the better it is for their growth. The main things to be careful of, is the water temp and acclimating the fry to the new water. Be gentle in transferring fry. I prefer not to lose any fry, so I transfer them as easy as I can.

Yep, about 4 weeks is when I look to move them, but of course the size of the spawn comes into consideration, if it's a large spawn they might need to be moved sooner as they outgrow the 10 gallon sooner, and small spawns I can hold off till they are a big older...but I do like getting them in the growout as that's when they really start a growth spurt with all the room to spread their fins, hehe.
