When They Get Older...

Is it possible for male bettas when they get older over 2 years to get sicker easier? I would think it is because as anything ages it gets weaker, would this be the same for my betta?

yes, as they get older they are more prone to disease and also get tired much more easily. My betta's working on his second year or so and he spends most of his time resting unless he sees me pass by.

If your betta seems off, try to identify if he is sluggish because he isn't feeling well, or if it's just because he ain't what he usedta be. Older fish can also be more sensitive to medication so you want to be as sure as possible before you treat him for anything.
