When Should I Get Baby Brime Shrimp

my molly fry is a mouth old and i was wondering sould i get some baby brime shrimp. also theres one fry who eats but doesn't get that big all the rest are about 1cm and a half, and he is near 1cm but not that built up should i put him in a breeder and only feed him BBS.

also i heard that BBS speeds growth up faster, and if it those then surely they will die faster?

does anyone know what BBS looks like and how to feed? soz i've never used it before

BBS is the very best food for all fish small and large, I've seen fish up to 6 inches eating it and they love it.

You have to hatch it your self in a salt water solution and they take 24 hours to hatch then shrimp are orange in colour, empty eggs float and shrimp should sink when aeration is turned off, all you have to do then is syphon the shrimp off and wash them in fresh water and then feed to the fish.

i put the bbs in the water solution at 8pm yesterday now the waiting game. oh yer when they hatch should i put food in or feed them straight to the fish after clean.

also you know its called live food but surely there dead after i have cleaned them, and put them in the tank

They still be alive after rinsing them in water and they will live in freshwater for 2-4 hours so the fish should eat most of them.

cool thanks they hatched by the way i think i put abit of meat on them and then feed them to the fish.

They don't devlope mouth part for 3 days, so best to feed as soon after hatching as possible

They have a yolk sac like baby fish, this is the best part of the shrimp to feed to the fish. if u leave then they will use the up in 3 days as the mouth develops, after the day 3 they then need to feed so then you need to start culturing algae to feed it or the shrimp is basically useless and will soon starve to death.
