To test less often, I have had fish for over 14 days now and I have been testing it everyday and there has been no change, when can I start just testing it all once a week, or should this never be the case?

Regards
Mike

A little more info would be helpful, is this a fish in cycle? Ie a tank where you have added fish to a tank where the filter bacteria have not had time to multiply. If so, then you will need to test daily for at least another 2 weeks, or at least every other day.

If, however, its a completley cycled tank, then only test once a fortnight or I only test when something in the tank seems wrong.

Sorry the tank finished cycling over 14 days ago and I have had fish in since then. Do I not need to test weekly, before/after water changes?

If its two weeks since the tank cycled, I'd be quite happy checking every week. But thats just me.

If the tanks fully cycled, then by all means only test once a week before a w/c, with more experience you will test less often :)
