When Can I Start Adding Plants To My Tank?

Hi, I have been keeping fish tanks both salt and freshwater for a while now, but usually when I add plants, the tanks have had inhabitants for years. I've just set up a 12 gallon eclipse tank, and it's cycling right now. I'm intersted in adding some easy plants, but I"m wondering when my tank will be ready for them.

as soon as you get the lights in, the Plants will cycle for you, and could use some of that ammonia
