When Can I Move My Vallis Plantlets?

hi, i bought some Vallisneria spiralis a while ago, and it has started sending out runners. 1 plantlet is approx. 3" high but most are about 1.5-2" high. they are not growing in the most convenient places, so i was wondering how big i should let them grow before i can cut them from the main plant and replant them elsewhere.

It'll be fine to cut them now, but you may find that they take a while to get going.

thanks, i think i might have to leave it a little while though, because my kribs have taken over that side of the tank.
