Yesterday I bought a couple of wheat plant (that is what the LFS) told me , however I can't find any specs about this plant on the net!

any info pls
thanks

well according the lfs it is an aquatic plant....

but credit to you maestro, i haven't seen it on any site... on the net
and it is so strange

Had a google and found this

Temperate
pH range: 7.2 - 8.5
Temperature range: 18 - 25C
Water hardness: 80 - 150 ppm
Availability: Hard to find
Propagation: Once growing plants acclimatize quickly underwater but are slow growing when emersed.
Habitat:

Native to Malaya.Has 20 to 30 variegated leaves originating from a rhizome which produces a cluster of whitish bulblets (as illustrated). Leaves are up to 30cm with yellow margins. Shoots or suckers can be detached from base stock & planted out. Effective only in emersed cultivation. Will not tolerate new water.

I have a wheat plant too and it makes the water smell kinda nutty... i've been thinking of taking it out as it also makes the water smell bad (apart from nutty).

I had two 8" stalks and cut them down to have 6-7 little stalkes. Supposedly they root but I haven't seen them root but they're not dead (had them 3-4 weeks)

It looks nice but I also wondered if it was a proper aquatic plant.

Oh I'm sorry, I always get my plant mixed up with the Sanderina that can also be found in the first link given. The one I was talking about isn't a wheat plant, sorry about that mistake :p
