Whats Your Favourite Fish?

Hey everyone, just thought id start a post about everyones favourite fish[that they actually own] and give everyone a chance to flaunt it,as i think this will be interesting to see the different varietys that people like and so on!!!! So nows your chance people. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FISH Pics would be great!!!!

Well I can't just choose one so it would be my bettas and my common pleco.

Hi, my favourite is Buster, my Common Pleco. He has grown about 3" since this pic was taken.

So far, my favourites are the Schwartzi Corys, they are cool and amusing to watch

Sakda is my favorite fish. He's just a plain red betta, but he's got more personality then any fish I've ever owned.

His tail has grown a bit more transparent fin though.

He's BEAUTIFUL!
He's dark dark brown, with 3 black vertical strips.
I don't have pictures though...
Its hard to see him when the tank lights are off, hes about 4" long..

I have a few tips on how to catch it. What I do is take a net and chase it to the front of the tank and pick it up with my hand but with yours I guess you'd have to use both hands. Or from what I heard on here you can take a big jar in your case and put some zuchheni or algae wafers in the jar and do it at night with the tank lights off and wait for it to come out and when it does it should go in to jar once it smells/sees the food and when it goes in just have the lid in one hand and put the lid over the hole so he can't get out and lift it out and put it in a bag or whatever so you can acclimate it in new tank.

Well as i dont have any fish at the minute[but did have] i dont have a favourite at the minute as im just getting back into the hobby!!!! Buti did have a small iridecent shark that reminded me of a small hammerhead shark which i liked alot1!!! But ive only just found out they grow bloody massive!!!!! Any how the reason for me not having any fish at the mo is cause about a year ago my fish allcaught whitepot and all died even though i had used the appropriate treatment!!!! So after all the work of trying to build up a nice tank and then that happened, so i went into annoyed period and i thought nh i aintdoing fish again, and here am a year l8r just about to add fish to the same tank!!!!

This is hard for me to answer. I think first of beckford's pencilfish I used to have, and then of neons, but I think my favorite fish I have right now is my blind cave tetra that's lived for at least four years. It is awesome to watch, zipping back and forth in huge loops, almost never running into things, and being chased by the chinese algae eater. Everyone needs a blind cave tetra!

I'd return the CAE (chinese algae eater) because they get aggressive as you can see with the chasing and when they get bigger they get more aggressive. By the way to the forum.

I like your choice for favorite fish, aaronus. They are amazing fish and I'm always surprised that more people don't keep them.

as for wild fish, it would probably be the tiger shark or the sailfish.
