Whats Yasmin Doing???

Yasmin my female betta lives in a 1 gallon next to another one gallon that has one of my male bettas,Owl, in it. When Owl flares at her she flares back and stripes appear on her. Whats Yasmin Doing???

I used to have a female betta named Yasmine! Intill she turned into a boy
Anyways I believe she is showing breeding stripes or it could be a sign of agression. Are the stripes going up and down? If so thats what I think they are
