whats worng? can som1 plz help me??????????

hi how long did they stay in the bag also how lond did u acclimistise them for if u anwser these questions it will help us a lot

i left them in the bag for about 30 to 35 minutes and i left them in the bag in the tank for about 20 minutes

How long has the tank been setup?
Stats- ammonia, PH, nitrite, nitrate?
Tank size?
Any other fish in the tank?

the tank has been set up for about a week and a half. and it a 2ft with and angel, rainbow shark, guppys, cory, bristle nose cattys and a gourami.
but all of my fish are small and from what i can tell arnt attacking the neon but it might be a neon attaicking it. can that happen? if so what do i do?

Seems to me a tad bit over stocked. And perhaps the order of fish introduced mght need revising.

M daughter had a tank 2 foot tank set up for one week before she got 5 neons. that was last friday. thay are still alive and look vibrant. I will allow her to get two cory's and perhaps a pair of dwarf gourami or four mollies. thats it in a tank that size. The fish's health is more important than a heavily stocked tank

Added to many fish to soon to a newly set up tank. You buy a few hardy fish till the tank has cycled. The tank is to small for angels, sometimes they eat neon tetra in the wild. The shark needs a 40 gallons tank.Take a sample of your water to the lfs and tell them to write the readings down for you.Neon tetra need a mature tank. All you can do is preform a water change of 30%, and increase aeration in the tank.Take a look at the beginner topics.http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showforum=58
