whats wrong with my snail?

does anyone know what the long thing is sticking out my snail? it has sort of redish orangy blotches on it - my other one does to.

theyre always attached to each other aswel even though i have a 4ft tank and i only have two - ive never had any babies though

Very small picture so it's hard to tell but I think, yes, that's right, it's a snail willy (ovipositor)

Sound like you have two males, and apple snails cannot change like some species can (as I understand it)

wow theyre horny snails then theyve always got it out! and its huge! its longer than the snail itself!

maybe theyre gay then if theyre always together

think i need to find some females for them then!

i thought it might have been that my axolotls damaged them because about 4-5 months ago i got 5 apple snails and they killed 3 of them within a week and these two have lived.

anyone have any female apple snails?
