whats wrong with my fish??

hi i was wondering if anyone knows whats wrong with my fish? here goes. Its seems that my fish have a itching problem.. they seem to rub against everything in the tank.. Why do they do this?

The rubbing is also a sign of ich (white spot) this can be controlled with white spot treatment. It is better to treat before any spots are seen but can be treated once spots are visible. Look out for what looks like tiny grains of sand on fins.

It can also be a sign that the nitrites or nitrates in your water are too high. (You want the nitrites at 0, and the nitrates below 40ppm (I try to keep mine between 5-10ppm)

Thanks everyone. I will add some nitrate stuff in the water. and ill look to buy soem stuff for the itch. whats the best formula and name to buy??? I did notice on one of my balloon mollies tail there is a white spot. this can be treated and fixed right??
