Whats Wrong With My Female Guppy

My female fancy tail female doesnt seem to have any graved spot on her. Right above where her gravid spot should be is clear and below where the graved spot whould be its red. Is this normal i have had her for 5 weeks now and there is a male their but i relized as soon as the feeder guppy died he has mellowed out a lot and doesnt even mate with her anymore. He will swim by her but doesnt do anything else. Is this ok???

yes its fine because that just what it looks like when there not preg which is rare for gups

o well what confuses me is why isnt she pregnant since my feeder gupppy got pregnant from this male but she isnt it really make me wonder?? anybody

Well guppys arent fat and pregnant all the time, silly.

Does it bother you that she's not bursting 24/7?!!!

And like people, not all fish are attracted to other fish.

They dont have to have sex every day, producing mass amounts of fry for you. God.

Just because she isnt pregnant doesnt mean she's unhealthy.

yes i know they arent fat and pregnant at the same time and no it wouldnt bother me if she was bursting 24/7 because then my angels would have a great supply of live food. And as far as i was aware of if you put a male guppy in with a female they will mate, and this male did have sex with my feeder guppy if we put it your way every day, in fact every time i looked in the tank the male was going after the female guppy, and now that she died the male doesnt even bother the fancy tail female anymore even though he used to a little. I dont know but its kind of weird that they dont even really acknowledge they exist anymore. Gosh

The red that you see are unfertilized eggs. She'll probably be pregnant soon, just wait.

ok its been over 5 weeks though the feeder guppy got pregnant as soon as i put them male in their but oh well i wil wait and see

Well, it is possible that your male might be sterile, you never know.

I've had males that aren't attracted to some females. try to get a new male or female.

ya i think thats the problem since he loved the other female guppy i had in there but she died so maybe in a little bit i will get another female i might just wait until the two guppy fry in my other tank grwo up and use them
