What's wrong with my Black Phantom

There's the obvious finrot that I just attribute to the fact that he and his 3 friends were just added three days ago - none of the others have fin rot however. But the whitening near the end of his tail is what i'm most curious about.

At the LFS when a fish had whitening like they, there was usually some other obvious deformity - but I don't see that on this little guy - that is unless, it's a developing deformity.

So... what's up, and how do I fix it?

...it's not the finrot that i'm wondering about, it's the whitening of the body near the tail

the body itself is turning white, it's not the skin or something on the skin

i would go with the columnaris and its probably been brought in with the fish. i take it you didnt quarantine them first?

it looks ,like its infected and has columnaris as black angel said!

just to add as well that bacterial finrot if left untreated can also eat into the body of the fish.
