Whats Wrong With My Betta?

They don't alway eat the food at first just keep trying, but remove the uneaten food.
As he been fed bloodworms only all his life.

nope. used to have pellets for a year then stopped liking them
ill remove it. thanks wilder and others. ill give an update soon.

Isn't 3.5 years old quite elderly in betta years? Has he only eaten the bloodworms his whole life?

Not remotely. Many have been known to live for up to 9 years. Frankly I'm amazed he's lasted as long as he has in a bowl.

i woke up this morning to find him glassy eyed and the life out of his eyes . he died. i can't belive he's gone. i miss him coming up to me when i walked into the room. poor little guy. ive had him forever. he was 3.5, but he was doing great. i don't think im going to get another betta cause another one can't replace him.
