What's With This Scale?

She seems to be swimming and acting like normal, but this strange-looking scale thing is just bothering me. I noticed it a few days ago and I figured it would go away, but it hasn't.. Is there a reason it's like this and can I do anything about it? It's really unattractive. =)

im not sure that fish is preggers and if she is its not related to that lump. ive never seen anything similar before so im clutching at straws but id keep an eye on the fish, it could be something internal under the skin? could be a cyst. she does look a little bloated to me. keep watching (great photos by the way you can see all the scales so well)

luckily, it doesnt look like dropsy. only thing thats wrong is that lump. im not sure what that is, but im sure somebody on the foums knows.

I would remove her from the tank as you don't wan't that lump bursting in the tank, can you feel the lump to see if it's soft with liquid, or hard to the touch.

Aah. Okay. Thanks, everyone. I'll remove her and keep a close eye on that.

I would touch it.. but she's a fighter. I never thought such a small fish could be so adamant in her refusal to stay in a net. =/ So I'll just let it run it's course in her own little tank.
