I don't know what's up with my sunburst wag Platy, but it's kind of weird. I'm 99% sure she's pregnant because she's fat and has been around males recently. First, I saw she had something coming out of her, but it wasn't live babies... it was a string with dark spots in it. I thought it was poop, since it wasn't a really long string, but then she started making more of them. And the weird thing was, she was trying to find a secluded spot, and then right afterwards she would eat the weird string. (It's not really a string, as it is not very thin and not flexible) They're not eggs are they? Is she maybe sick? Are they her intestines? Placenta? Stillborns? I've tried to search on the Internet but I'm not coming up with anything? Pleeeeeeeease let me know what you think. I've got her in a seperate breeder for now, cause that stuff keeps coming out of her, but I don't want to leave her in there for too long. Thanks so much!
