Hello everyone. I am new to this site, stumbled across it trying to find some help for my fish. Looks like a good place so i hope i can get some help and learn some tips for happy fish!!!!

Where do i start...... I have 2 large fancy Orandas, or bubble heads as i call em.
They are in a 2.5ft fish tank, with a fluval 3 filter system, with bubble curtain and green plants for eating and oxygenating.
I have had the one Oranda about 2 months, he is red and black, and the calico i bought on valentines day (ahhhhh)
Shortly after the calico one was introduced to the tank my red and black started to grow a wormy thing on his bum - which i confirmed online as Anchor worm, which was treated and had gone away, so all was fine. Now the poor thing is looking desperately constipated, his tummy is very distended, and he just hangs out at the bottom of the tank looking so sad i feel sorry for him. I dont think its Dropsy, or rather i hope not as i hear this is fatal - the pics i have seen of this diseases, the scales are very proruded although he is now so fat some of his do seem to stick out.
We have tried feeding live food - bloodworms and delphina, and even peas, but nothing seems to be working, I have also swappped from a floaing food to a sinking variety to avoid getting air in their tummies. Please does anyone have any hints. I have used a test kit and all seems well with the water and had a local aquatics place test it too and they said its all good - ph 7, no traces of ammonia or nitrates
I am headed back to the shop where i bought him from for advice as they are very helpful, and advised rightly - it seemed about the Anchor worm, so i thought that was an idea. Also i am tempted to separate the fish for a short while, as i cannot be sure if i try to correct with food how much he gets as the calico one is a right bossy boots and very greedy, although i have to say the red and black one loves his grub to!!

Sorry if my first post is wrong, or boring, i have tried to include as much info as poss so you good people can help. I have longed for a couple of these fish for ages and now i got em i want em happy.

Looking forward to getting some advice and looking forward to learning lots......thanks guys

Luv Lea
