So my wife bought me a 55 gallon tank and I've been messing around with it for about 6 months now. Things are going good. All the fish get along and I really love the albino cory cats I have adopted. Do these things ever sleep? 
I had a small outbreak with ich but it's clear now. I think I got it after buying fish from one of the mass chain stores.
I've really enjoyed the hobby so far and excited to get some live plants in the tank within the next couple months. I have recently changed to Eco-complete substrate and a new light in preperation for this.
This forum has been very helpful in finding answers to most of my questions and the people here are nicer then some of the other non fish forums I frequent. Thanks for all the help!
