Whats This On My Lid?

OK this is on the inside of my lid, ive never had aq problem with algea in my tank, should i just scrape it off or if its harmless just leave it, as you can see it has started to bubble and it feels like hair gel or hard jelly.

Scrape it off, it's just algae.

If u have any African cichlids they love to eat that stuff too. so will pleco's

i wouldnt put it in the tank as it will give off spors

Spores are every where anyway so not gonna make much of a difference, if u have it already.

The reason i said about cichlids are this is a large part of their diet and they love it if u have a cichlid tank.
