Whats This On My Angel

only just noticed that my angel fish that i had fo r about 4 - 5 years has got some reddening at the base of its dorsel fin, could this be age or infection? took couple of pics but not very good?

A pic would help. On lighter colored angels, such as gold or koi, some reddish tint can be seen from time to time where the dorsal attaches to the body. This is many times normal coloration, and it can come & go. On a darker fish it is something to worry about, it could be septicemia.
