What's This Growth From Fish Mouth

Any ideas what this is? It's been there for a few weeks.

It's not just one fish that has it? Theres two on the first picture that have it, strange!

Weird one. Is it defo a growth? Have you fed any worms lately only sometims mine can't fit it all in and a bit sticks out their mouths and it looks like that. Just a suggestion.

It's a growth of some sort. Being growing for a couple of weeks. I seem small bumps before that eventually go away but these are growing.

As said, there are two with this problem. There fins look a bit tatty too.

It appears to be a lip fibroma, most commonly found on angels & other cichlids. It's only a problem if it prevents the fish from eating, a solution can be found in my response here.

Wow.. I don't know if I can do that. They are so small, I don't see them surviving such a trauma.

Do you think this is terminal if not treated?

As long as they are kept in really clean water for about a week it isn't an issue. The problem with not removing it is that eventually the fish can no longer eat.
