Whats The Smallest Tank You Have Bred Fighing Fish In?

I have an 11 L tank (2 US g) and was wondering weather a pair of fighting fish will breed in such a small tank (just say if they are in good water conditions)?
And do i need filteration? Cheers, Joemuz

It can work, but if you didnt know the answer to that question, you probably arent experienced enough to do it. I wouldnt suggest doing it because itll be difficult to raise the fry in there and the female may be killed. If you do decide on trying it out, dont be surprised if you end up with a dead fish and half dead male.

It can be done. Make sure the fish are properly conditioned. It's hard to properly heat a tank that size and maintain a constant temp, that's why it's not really recommended (outside of Asia!). You have to keep constant watch and promptly remove the female as soon as breeding has finished as there's just not enough room for her to hide real well.
