I've seen them labeled differently in separate tanks at some LFS's and was wondering what exactly is the difference?

Is it size - habitat preference i have no idea!

a system angel?? sorry but that doesn't mean anything to me

you can get pteroleum scalare and pteroleum altum (spelling almost definately wrong) but you very rarely see altum's on sale cos they can get about 2 feet tall!!!

i think virtually all angels you'll see in lfs's are scalare, maybe they were referring to different colour variations?

system angel or anything else for that matter
refers to tank bred, especially from that particular country

in other words, bred in a tank in the country you are in,
not farmed aborad or wild caught.

Thanks - Surprisingly simple explanation = surprisingly dumb question lol

I didn't think it was a dumb question. Why couldn't they put 'captive bred' and 'wild caught'? Much easier to understand if you ask me.

'system' on wholesalers lists are often in brackets, IE
Female fighters (system) one price
Female fighters (wild) higher price
most lfs' don't put 'system' on the lableing so as not to confuse the gen public :p
