LOL, strange title i know, but it says it all.

I put in two slices of it and left t overnight cause my plecs are a little shy, so watched em all eat it for about 2hrs, then this mornin, cant find it anywhere?

Do they even eat the hard green outer bit? I wouldnt have thought so, so is it bad for them?

What do you other cucumber feeding peeps think?

I always cut that bit off, so my plecs have never had the chance to eat it, but they are pigs, so I'm sure if they had the chance they would have. As for it being harmful to them, I don't believe it would be.

adds fibre! they prolly will eat it; i've heard reports of plecos eating entire fish carcasses, even the bones! i'm sure yours would have no trouble devouring entire slices of cucumber.

my mom always told me all the vitamins are in the skin... but I'm sure she just said it cause her mom said it and so on and so forth... at some point I either had a very intelligent relative that knew that or I had a great great grandmother that was too lazy to peel stuff so she told her kids that...

I used to have a plec who preferred the skin - he ate it from the outside in!!! Never did him any harm!

in my 46 gallon either the bristlenose, syno. eup., and/or snails eat the skin every time
