Hi all,

I'm ready to instal Co2 into my tank after constructing the DIY reactor and was
just wondering what methods people prefer to dissolve Co2 in their tanks?

Thanks

Be warned, the Nutrafin diffuser works rather well! In fact due to my low KH I had a pH drop from 7.2 to 6.8 (diffusing the CO2 using only an air stone) to approx 6.0 (using the diffuser). This was in a 400 litre tank too! The fish were fine about it apart from 4 new fish which I put in the tank and promptly came down with pH shock. It was this that alerted me to the low pH. According to KH/CO2 calculators my CO2 was running at about 120mg/l! Oops!

Hmm, that's interesting! I was going to use two diffusers together, but maybe I ought to use one. What do you think?
I have a 55 gallon (or 208 liters) and I'm going to be using 2 2liter bottles with yeast/sugar recipe. What recipe do you think will work the best? I want it to last really long.
Sorry to hijack! :*)

the recipy i use is 1 cup suger 6 cups water and a sach of bread yeast, i change mine every fortnight, it better to change before it runns out to avoid PH swings. :D :D :D :D :D
