Whats Killing My Fish?

If it's a toxin introduced on the courgette or new plant then you need to do a massive water change to clear it. And if you have carbon then use it in your filter.

I agree, I would go as far as netting the fish into a bucket of their existing water and then doing a 100% water change on the tank, adding an active carbon pad/bag before drip acclimitizing the fish to the new water.
 
Thanks for the advise. Done a big water change and added carbon to a second internal filter. Hopefully this will improve things.
Does anyone know what could have caused the PH to shoot up?
 
is your tank heavily planted? as you should have a Nitrate reading in there?
 
Yeah it is heavily planted. Did a nitrate reading earlier which came out at 0???? Water chemistry isnt a strong point for me so it doesnt mean much to me
 
Lost 2 more big apistos overnight. This is really getting to me now. Checked PH again and thats back down to normal. I cant understand what could be killing the apisto's but hardly touching anything else.
