The only way I can describe what's on my fish is that it looks tiny air bubbles or specks - itsseems to be on all my fish except for cory's, catfish and some new molly's

One of my Buenos Aires tetras along with some others have already been fally affected.

I don't have a picture yet. I did introduce some duckweed a few weeks ago - but just started noticing this weird condition.

Any ideas??

Where are the bubbles and are they beneath the skin or on top.

Thanks Wilder -

If they're air bubbles - they entirely coat the fish - giving the fish an almost silver appearance

Don't think it bubble gas desease as the bubbles are usually beneath the skin, does it look like the fish has been sprinkled in salt, are they flicking and rubbing against objects, or laboured breathing, are they twitching or shaking like something is irratating them, are the gills pale or red and inflamed with excess mucas on them.

Yes it look slike the fish is covered in sugar grains....

You have whitespot then, turn temp up abit say gradually as the catfish might not like the temp a 30, which you usually have to do with whitespot, don't add salt as you have scaless fish, you will need a whitespot med, do a water change before you add the med, and don't forget to remove black carbon out of filter if you have some in there, and increase aeration with an airstone as meds take the 02 out of the water, good luck.
