Hi Guys,
I returned home from work this afternoon to find all 6 of my neon tetras dead and the rest of the fish look as though they were struggaling for breath as they where all at the top of the tank and there gills were going 10 to the dozen.
So I have replaced all my filter mediums as i noticed the pump was not giving out very much preasure so I cleaned it all out, and now the air flow is back up to about normality.
I brought and fitted an aitstone to a pump and now have had that on for the last 2 hours.
Can you think of any thing that may be wrong
Heres the details
Tank: - Tropical, community fish 5 Black Mollies, 3 Silver Mollies, 2 Clown Loaches, 2 Small Angle fish, 2 Female Fighting fish and 3 3 spot gouramis.
Tank Temp: - 28.2 degrees
Tank PH: - 6.1
Water type: Hard
Tank clenleness
30- 40 % water change every Sunday evening, all ways replacing water with fresh start in.
The tank has been set up for 1 year now and only lost 4 fish in that time and now 6 in a day
No new fish have been added for 2 months
