What's Going On?

My swordtail is really active when the light is on. But the second the light goes off he swims right near the bottom and circles a little bridge. When he does this he looks ill?!

I've noticed this with my fish they lose their colour and sit around the bottom they may just be resting as they think its night time

I'd imagine he just goes into night mode. All my fish are doing this when I turn the room lights on after leaving them in the dark for a while.

+1 mine do this too when I turn the lights off and it goes dark
