whats better for plants

When you have a sand substrate what is better, fertilizer tablets or liquid?

depends on the plant if it is a heavy root feeder like most crypts i think tabs would be better if it is a heavy water feeder like lets say er... java moss then liquid ferts are better

well i have corkscrewe val, amazon sword and some oter plant.

u use the liquid fertilizer like flourish and doesnt seem to help out.

think I am going to go buy some tabs and try them.

do i bury them under the snad by the roots or just stick them in the top or something?

your swords will like the tablets much better as they feed from the root. you just push the tablet in about 1/2 to 1 inchbelow the sand next to the plant... the roots soon find it.

i think you'll be better with tablets that liquidfor those plants.
