Well, right now i have a 90 gallon sitting in the living room, waiting to start cycling. But we need a filter!

We've bought and returned 2 filters so far, because neither of them had a high enough flow-rate for what they said on the box. We thought we'd try out the eheim Classic 2215, and although it said it was for 66-93gallons on the box, the flow rate was 164g/h, that's just enough for a 41 gallon!

Anyways, i'm getting really annoyed and was wondering what kind of filter brand/models you suggest. I need a canister filter, and can't go to a trickle system because i need fairly acidic water.

I'd also like to have just 1 canister running, as opposed to 2 or 3 lesser ones(if at all possible) thanks, you'll save me a bunch of hassle! :)

aquaclear my fravoit for non planted aquarium. Also fluval is ok but I dislike the clean up part same apply to ehaim. But fluval should be fine I using a 204 atm for my 40g seems pretty good and doing its job and they have those peat for sell in store. But still none of them can come near to my fravoit aquaclear, HOB filter tend to be my fravoit :D.

if it is in your budget go for
eheim professional 2222 or 2224
or professional II 2026 or 2028
