well its a 20 gallon but im upgrading to a 100 something here pretty soon!!
anyways i went ahead and bought a jewel cichlid that i have in my 10 gallon with the albino convict that was being beat up by my 3 inch regular convict!!!
they are all doing fine and i will be getting my 100 something gallon soon!!!!

My favourite.......Pseudotropheus Demasoni (see Avatar pic). Like I said in your other post, research is paramount though.

in my opinon hap. insignis is one of the most beautiful cichlids i have ever seen its all blue with a gold belly and fins (dorsal fin is blue) you have to have luck on your side when buying the hapalocromis insignis becouse only the males have color and they dont color up until they are about 4 to 5 inches on average. all the lfs i have been to (that sell hap. insignis) sell them when they are small of corse and and you really just have to close your eyes and pick some and hope to god you got at least one male i have been looking on the net to try to find a pic of one but no luck yet
