Whats a good price for a..

I was wondering what a good price on a 75 gal or 180 gal would be. I saw a 75 for $129.00 just not totaly sure if its good price or not.

Very good deal, if it's still there, buy it, unless you don't have the room (though that doensn't stop too many people). Around here (in Vermont) a 75 gallon tank (Just the tank, no hood, filter, Heater) costs around $180 new.

I have a hood that i hope will fit on top of it but if not it will be like 149.00 i think.

you can get a starter type set from wal mart for like 175 it comes with everything but u might wanna get a new filter light heater etc... i would get it i have the money but my parents dont think its a good idea

That is about the going price around here, in the Toledo Ohio/Monroe Michigan area. I saw complete 55 gallon setups, Penguin 330 filter, 200 watt heater, hood, stand and a Whisper 400 air pump on sale for $149 a couple weeks ago, and they had the 55 tanks themselves for 50 bucks out the door. It also matters what kind of aquarium your get, as All Glass seem to sell for more than Perfecto and the others. I just picked up a Perfecto 18 high (which is the same base as a 10 but 20 inches high) for $23.89 and the All Glass 15 highs are $29.99 around here.
