i got home from school yesterday and aLL my fish where dead sept from my blackmollys and 2 platybabys

any ider what happend

How long has the tank been set up and was it cycled?

the tank was set up 6years ago and yes it was cycald

Did the water get too hot? Did something get put in the tank that should not have been in there? Have you added anything new to the tank lately like fish, plants ornaments? How many fish died?

3 platys 1clown loche the water temp was 71 and ther was no simptons of dieses and did not add anything new

The water should be at between 75 and 80 degrees for your fish. 71 is a bit too cold and this can cause stress in the fish which then makes it easier for the fish to get diseases. Dont buy any more fish until you get the temperature up and you are sure all of your other fish are OK. Only raise the temperature a couple of degrees each day until you get it to 76 degrees. If there are no fish in the tank you can raise it to 76 right away. Hope everything gets better.
