What You Guys Think?

I got a planted 50 gallon with Discus, 1 Angelfish, and 2 Ram. I have some nasty algae that is just so hard to scrub off and taking over. I don't feel like blacking the tank out at the moment... Do you guys think a Bristle Nose Pleco would be okay? I know that Pleco can sometimes suck on the Discus, and that these are the most recommended. I have never been fans of any Pleco in a Discus tank but in this case I am considering one. Does anyone have any horror stories with the Bristle Nose? He won't put holes in the plants will he? Are there any other reasonably priced Pleco that I could look out for? Clown Pleco?

think the bristlenose will munch youre plants,i got a royal panaque in with my discus an not only does he keep my wood clean he does a fair job on the glass as well

Don't get a clown pleco, they don't eat algae, I got two to keep one of my tanks clean and found out after they actually eat wood, not algae!

Thanks for the advice guys... What do you think I should do then? Snails? Some bigger shrimp shouldn't get eaten, but I don't know how well they will do on the stuck on algae...
