GOt 4 pairs of these and have never seen them before, apparently they are called black chins (Girardinus metallicus )

There the same as most livebearers and have fry every 28 days

This pic is not mine, but mine are 100% exactly the same.

Their loverly fish I've had a few over the years. Very easy to keep and breed, and the fry are a good size as well, they rarly eat any fry and given enough space will happily flock breed.

And one to watch out for is the same fish but it's yellow instead of black, I've seen a few pairs at specialist auctions over the years.

LOL - how does he swim?
I've seen these before in a place down the city that has just about everything. I would have bought them but half the school were pooing worms and three of them had whitespot  they're known for their range, not their clean tanks or disease management.

Sort of apart from the gonopodium is about 10 times larger.... he must be happy

lol, i wish i were him, lol. I have heard of them before, but never seen them though. How much are they usually priced, and are they rare? I might order em a few at my fav lfs, but i dont want to order something super expensive.

You want to contact the ALA www.livebearers.org your soon find the fish there and most peeps will post them or check aquabid.
