What Would You Get?

Hey guys!


Ok, I got a brand new 20g Today since it was on sale tank,hood and light for $20.00!!!! So I had to get it. (I know you would have too! )

If you where in my shoes what fish community would you get for the 20g? I am open to anything!

I want to make a nice community of peaceful fish.

love new tanks!!!
I adore gouramies so a gourami would just HAVE to go in there... probably a pearl cause they're the best but a couple of dwarfs are great too... I've developed a liking for black phantom tetras so those would go in - a shoal of maybe 6. 4 bronze cories or a bristlenose pleco would also be nice...

Or maybe I'd try something completely different and fill it up with tiger barbs. I'm SURE I saw that suggested somewhere...

Or I could put the badis I want in and make it a species tank.

Or I could put in a trio of guppies and see how quickly they could fill it up with little baby guppies (aww - so cute).

Or I might go for realy small fish and get a shoal of golden dwarf barbs, harlequin rasboras, neon tetras, dwarf cories and/or endler's livebearers.

Or a pair of convicts and torture myself with trying to find homes for the fry... (on seccond thoughts, maybe not ).

If it were tall enough, maybe I'd get an angel or two, a bristlenose or cories and some black-winged hatchetfish.

Actualy, at the moment, I'd probably put a large group of female bettas in a 20 gallon and see how colorful a display I could get (beautiful fish).

Oh my... looks like I'll be getting a new tank now !

do a tetra community! Do like 6 neons, 4 blind cave tetras, 3 black phantom tetras,oh also get some black neons they are really cool

As you already have the tetras and barb tanks how about Apistogramma or Rams
with maybe some corys and some hatchets

Heavily planted, tons of filtration, a good piece of bogwood, a few rocky caves...

Yeah, that's what I'd do with a 20g (long).

WOW so many suggestions!

Thanx for everybodies input I sylvia! so many options you gave me lol.

I think I will go with a small fish community in this tank with all kinds of tetras, and some barbs!!!

RYO, with those type of fish I want to get a 20g long that would be great with bogwood and lots of plants!
