Well you have bottom-dwellers already and plenty of schooling fish to fill out the middle so I'd get some honey gouramies (a trio) for the top and a trio of croaking gouramies or 3-5 sparkling gouramies to add some non-schooling interest to the middle and lower levels.

If you don't mind adding something bigger, I'd suggest a pair of pearl gouramies instead to fill out the top and act as a focul point.

On the other hand, for non-gourami fans, a school of myer's hatchetfish would fill out the top nicely or maybe a school of some kind of danio (though I'd personaly be all for the common zebras or leopards).
Also, a pair of rams would make a nice centerpiece for those who preffer cichlids or some small livebearers such as platies, guppies or endler's to add colorful highlights to the set-up.

Thankyou catlover and sylvia.

I have a new problem. Long, grey, thin algae. I don't know it's name in english, or is it hairalgae? I've heard that 0 nitrates could be the reason.

I've already had all suggested gouramies except pearl gouramies but they are too big I think. I've also had hatchets and I have danios in my other tank. I also have panda cories in other tank. Livebearers would prefer more alkaline water.

Pygmy corys and cichlids sounds good. Not both thought, or? Any more suggestions? :look:

livebearers would be fine

they're bred in all kind of conditions now anyway, and have been tank bred for ages. there wild habitat condition is not required to keep them in home auqaria because of this and they adapt to pretty much any condition.

Myself, i would add a pair of rams and a male american flagfish!

I've had some bad experiences about platys, guppys and swordtails in soft water. Mollys seem to tolerate better.

Flagfish is excellent suggestion. I've tried to find these for a while now.

flagfish definetaly add color and activity to a tank, plus they eat hair algea if it ever shows up! I see them everywhere around here now. at least 3 or 4 stores near have a bunch of them.

good luck in finding them!

They seem to be very rare in here, but I'll try my best. :) If you didn't notice I live in the other side of the world. :santa:
