What Would/have You Stocked A 240l With?

Im setting up and cycling my 240L in my new house in 10 days and i have MY idea of what i want to stock it with once the cycle is complete but as im brand new to the hobby i dont know what else would be good.. Could anyone provide pics and or lists of fish that you think would be good in a 240? Ill then research your suggestions and see if i prefer them to my own current idea..

i have a 216 litre tank, and i have previously stocked it with a group of clown loaches, a group of silver sharks and a golden nugget pleco.

but now i have 5 sae's, 5 otto catfish, a group of marbled hatchet fish, a pair of pelvicachromis pulcher, and a few small shoals of tetras, (cardinalds, serpaes and rummy noses). and i am also looking for some red cherry shrimp.

also, have you thought of lake malawi cichlids?
