What Will I Put In My Little 50 Litre Tank?

Hiya, I bought a 60 litre tank (not sure in gallons, and dont want to guess as i always get it wrong )

What do you guys think I should put in it? I was planning to get...
4 corydoras
6 neon tetras
4 halequins rasboras (i think thats how u spell it)
1 Siamese fighting fish

Is this ok? is there enough room for them? and do all these fish get on? I was wanting a little 'peaceful tank'

the neons could nip the fighting fish but thats the only problem i think.

Oh right, thanks for that sam, I've only kept neons once before when i was 8 or something, and would really like them again because of their bright colours, so I'll pass on the siamese fish, i don't want its tail bitten or anything, I might get a tank for just one of them on it's own/or with fish that wont bite!

oh, and thanks Enthusiast, lol I'm rubbish at figuring out gallons and stuff, is it something like 2.2 litres to a gallon or something?

3.8 litres to a US gallon
4.45 litres to a REAL gallon

Why not go for cardinal tetras as they're similar in colour to neons but are more hardy?

thanks SkydiveSonic for the gallon calculator lol, and very good idea about the cardinal tetras, they are just as lovely as the neons, I had no idea that they are hardier than neons, I think I'll go with your idea and put cardinal tetras in

So, going with my brilliant mathematical skills (yeah right!) my tank is 11 REAL gallons lol watch this i bet im wrong

its the fact that they nip, not how hardy they are tho.


i have to say, i do kno people with neons in a tank with a fighter but then it hasnt worked for others.

since they only need a 2 gallon bowl you could always have that ready if they do pick on him?

Thanks again sam, I dunno what to do, I might get cardinals, and just be patient and get another tank for a siamese fighter... so would cardinals and a siamese fighter b a bad mix if they were together? sorry for all the questions!

oh, and sorry again for chatting away but do any of you have/or had those little zebra danios with the long tail? and how would they be in my tank?
