I'm thinking about purchasing some limestone rocks with holes in the off ebay. And I was wondering if there was any kind of plant that would grow I the holes? 'cause I wanted a pleco, and mine used to always dig up the plastic plants. I have never used live plants before, and I think this might be a way to keep them from digging them up, and I get some live pkants too! Any ideas on what would grow in it?

i hope you know that the limestone will increase the PH!

anubias and java fern have been said to do well at a high PH, and i think anubias nana would fit in the holes nicely.

all depends on light in the end, give us your lighting specs and we can go from there. also the size of the tank, the depth and if youre going to be using any ferts.

 I didn't know that. hm. Well is there any other kind of stone that has those holes so that I can put some plants in?

I have a sandstone piece with a hole in. Really nice looking too as it's kind of stripy :)
