well so far ive tried a toothbrush, and a scrub pad with no soap and havent come up with a good solution to removing the build up on my ceramic disk of my diffuser so im checkin for better ways to accomplish this.....ideas anyone..thanks

I think you let them soak in a diluted bleach solution for an hour or so and then rinse them out afterwards and this unclogs them, im not sure if you are meant to scrub them, i think this may damage them because the pores are so fine, but as far as i know a diluted bleach solution will do the trick.

thanks zig i will give it a try.i lightly scrubbed with a toothbrush and scrubpad but it didnt remove anything really,so i will give your reccomendations a go.

I used a toothbrush the other day. I'm convinved that leaving it to soak in a bicarb soda solution works.

I use bleach, I dont think it's that safe but it sure does clean the glass :)

If its the bleach you are worried about just dip the diffuser in double strength dechlorinator when you are finished, bleach is just concentrated chlorine and will be neutralised by the dechlorinator.

i didn't know that ! hmm i think i should start having a glass diffuser shipped to my country... i want to try one out... [hijack]do you guys have suggestions on which one i should get ?[/hijack]
